Jessica Sleight, M.Ac., L.Ac., Dipl. Ac.
Jessica studied Five Element Acupuncture at the Tai Sophia Institute, earning a Masters of Acupuncture, and is currently continuing her studies in Chinese Herbs there. Previously, she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and Nonprofit Management from Western Washington University and over a subsequent ten year period, worked with various nonprofit programs and organizations. After experiencing acupuncture for herself, she decided on a career change. This allowed her to blend her degrees to continue helping people find a balance of health and wellness in their lives.
Jessica spent much of 2010 doing an apprenticeship program in Colorado to learn about Acupuncture and Sports Injuries and Pain. As a lifetime runner, running coach, and Howard County Strider member, it has been important for Jessica to combine her love of running with the benefits of acupuncture to help fellow athletes in the community. Jessica brings together the ability to treat specific injuries while treating the person as a whole. She truly believes that finding balance in one’s life helps each individual to find health and wellness.
