Akintunde Morakinyo, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist who has been practicing for over 15 years in the Baltimore/Washington D.C. area. Along with spearheading services at Gifts Psychological services, he presently teaches at Towson University and provides consultation and supervision to local mental heath clinics. His previous experience includes ten years working in the Baltimore County Public schools system as a school psychologist and 3 years working in the Maryland State Correctional System for the Maryland State Department of Education. Supervising and consulting experience include: MPB Group in Columbia, MD, Man Alive substance abuse clinic in Baltimore City, HOPE Health Systems in Woodlawn, MD. Dr. Morakinyo has a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Oklahoma State University, and a Ph.D. in Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
